Amaya Kal'Daka

"Woe to you miserable creatures, you children of the beast, lament in your fires of hell and pits of brine. I will be waiting, basking in my own fire, while you pitiful mortals aspire to be what you can never acheive."

Amaya Kal'Daka is a strange and curious woman. She carries herself with an air of confidence and moves with a great elegance and grace. She is quick to insult, slow to visibly anger, and will oftentimes come across as cold and condescending. She is fiercely loyal to the Goddess of the Night, and proudly wears the moon and star pendant with honor.

On the Day of Dreaming, 4th of the Month of the Rat, Year 188, a small sidhe child was born to the Demoness Kindra DarkMist and the Sidhe Simion Kal'Daka. She was christened Amaya.

As Amaya grew, many things provided to other children were taken away. She had no toys, only a spear which she was told she must learn how to use. Her Father showed her how to purge all weakness from her body and her mind, and her Mother tried to show her how to use her womanly charms to seduce males into giving her what she wanted.

Eventually, Amaya had to choose which path she wanted to follow. Her Granddame Lilith gave her the choice to bear the mark of the Kal'Daka. Amaya agreed to this, effectually choosing to follow her Father's path.

When she was seven years old, she went to Celeste and petitioned to be allowed into the religion of the Night. Josee, the High Priestess, gave her a set of tasks which upon completion, secured her place among the Nightwalkers.

Three years later, at age ten, she went to the Demon Knolin, in awe of his skill and power, and asked to be admitted to the Order of Algol. Her tasks for this were given by Harko. Nonetheless, she completed these tasks and was allowed into the Order. She served them fully until age twelve, when a decree came from the Heavens that no child could become part of a clan or order until their sixteenth birthday. Having no other choice, Amaya became a loner.

When she was fourteen, she happened upon Chance, and a magical wheel deep in Lord Arawn's swamps. Curious, Amaya spun it. As the wheel stopped spinning, Amaya felt a sharp pain zipping through her body. She trembled, sinking to her knees in the mud. When the pain was gone, she looked at her body only to find that she had aged five years.

A slight smile on her face, having finally put her childish years behind her, Amaya walks the realms, watching carefully those around her, never sure when she will choose to make her first strike.
