Perhaps it's just a droplet in an otherwise really large bucket... but it also gives me the opportunity to make my voice known, and frankly, I like doing that.
   
Roleplay usually winds up being something of a fluffy affair, sometimse.
People sometimes wind up roleplaying day to day living; a thing which drove
me screaming from MUSHes.  It's true.  I like a little drama, a little conflict ... a little emnity, sometimes... and sometimes having an enemy is something a lot deeper and more involved than dropping bounties or PKs on people.  You PK somebody, you have to forget everything involved.  Le whee.  But subtly manipulating somebody, goading them, prodding them, getting up in arms, trying to politically outmanouever somebody... *that* is a person you should fear.
   
Most people discover that swords can't outfight words; they discover this in
a hurry.  Somebody who can wield words as well as D'artagnon can heft a rapier, who can, with but a pose, express far more disdain than any number of bars, (barfs, rather), pukes, spits or sneers socials... anyway, I'm rambling.
   
I like her character OOC, even if I don't IC, and that's a fact.
