Fionna Kal'Daka

Named after the selkie Queen of Verlynia, Fiona BoneClaws, and once clansister of Lilith, Fionna is the firstborn living child of The Dark Lady Lilith Kal'Daka and The Dark Prophet Sarailis, she is heir to her mother's throne. She is also the first and only demonborn to scour these lands.

Since birth, her nights have been tormented with vivid and gory scenes of her coming damnation -- a fate she will never evade, for to redeem herself with good deeds would cause her to die. By now, she is resigned, and controls her fright in public, leaving her very solemn for a child her age.

However, knowing the tortue that awaits should she die, Fionna is determined to live well. She frequently communes with the gods, selling what's left of her soul for unearthly beauty and long-lasting youth. Her enormous vanity is only a reminder of what she traded to be so lovely -- but perhaps not even her mother knows this.

They are affectionate with each other -- she and her mother -- and yet their lives are parallel inverses. Cursed with eternal yet bitter life, Lilith makes miserable the lives of those around her. Shackled with an imminently horrible death, Fionna seeks to ensure the damnation of her friends, so that at least she will not be alone.

Her sister is the only one whom Fionna genuinely hopes to spare, for reasons of her own.

The only demon child would mysteriously vanish however, without word to anyone, without a trace. Even her mother could find no sign of what happened to her daughter. After her disappearance, Lilith once again left the world, perhaps in mourning, if she still has a heart that is.
